HEB Launches Annual School Supply Drive

HEB last week launched its “Stuff the Bus” annual city-wide school supply drive in its hometown of San Antonio to help bring supplies such as pens, pencils, paper, notebooks and crayons to children who need them.

The Texas grocer works with sponsor Communities in Schools (CIS) San Antonio on the project, and provides drop-off areas for donated school supplies, which will be delivered to students throughout the community via the following organizations:

-Communities In Schools of San Antonio (more than 60 school sites)
-San Antonio Youth Centers
-The Children’s Shelter
-Roy Maas Youth Alternatives, Inc.
-Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio
-Family Violence Prevention Services
-Select Archdiocese Catholic Schools
-ChildSafe
-Bexar Co. Juvenile Probation Dept.
-South Texas Aids Family Network
-Communities In Schools of South Central Texas
-Communities In Schools of Permian Basin
