Harris Teeter Unveils Latest Signature Sub Sandwich

Harris Teeter will offer shoppers at its Crescent Commons store in Cary, N.C., a new taste sensation on Wednesday, Feb. 15, when Carolina Hurricanes goalie Brian Boucher will debut a personally designed Signature Sub Sandwich, the latest in the grocery chain’s series of such edibles.

Retailing for $3.99, “The Boucher Block” is a white sub roll filled with breaded chicken topped with provolone cheese, lettuce, banana peppers; drizzled with Italian dressing; and seasoned with salt and pepper. For $4.99, shoppers can upgrade to a lunch pack consisting of the sandwich; a choice of Harris Teeter Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea or Lemonade; and one Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal Raisin or Cranberry Nut Cookie.

The Boucher Block, Harris Teeter’s second Signature Sub Sandwich of the season, will be available in the Fresh Foods Market Sandwich Shop in all of the grocer’s Raleigh, N.C.-area stores. During his Feb. 15 appearance, which will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Boucher will offer samples of the sandwich and sign autographs.

Matthews, N.C.-based Harris Teeter plans to introduce additional Signature Sub Sandwiches this season.
