Harris Teeter Presenting Chef’s Best: Organic
Southeast regional retailer Harris Teeter will once more present Chef’s Best at the Charlotte Convention Center Crown Ballroom, in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday, July 31. As in the past, the event will feature notable local chefs helping to raise funds for hunger relief. The theme this year is "Organic," with a focus not only on organically grown and manufactured products, but also on the relationship that developed between Harris Teeter and its event co-sponsor, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, a Feeding America-affiliated organization.
Along with a chef-prepared meal, event attendees will experience a private reception hosted by the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Charlotte and a live auction. Charlotte news anchor Maureen O’Boyle will serve as Chef's Best host.
