Harris Ranch Beef Solicits Easy Recipes

The Harris Ranch Beef Co., which offers a line of fully cooked entrees, has introduced a recipe contest spotlighting the convenient products. Through March 1, consumers can enter to win $500 of Harris Ranch Beef by sharing a recipe including a Harris Ranch Fully Cooked Beef Entrée as an ingredient, along with photos, videos and tips.

Submissions are being accepted at Harris' website or on the Selma, Calif.-based company’s Facebook page. Harris Ranch executive chef Anthony Hagans and his kitchen team will choose the winner, who will be revealed in March.

The fully cooked line includes a tender Beef Tri Tip Roast that could be sliced into bite-sized pieces and added to a quick chili recipe, slow-cooked Homestyle Pot Roast that could be sandwiched into slider rolls for an easy tailgate party snack, or chunky Beef Stew that could be sealed within small squares of puff pastry.

Located in California’s Central Valley, the company has developed a uniquely integrated beef production system in which cattle are sourced, fed and humanely processed exclusively by Harris Ranch.
