H-E-B Mexico Completes Supply Chain Upgrade
H-E-B Mexico has completed its deployment of the Portfolio Merchandise Management solution from Scottsdale, Ariz.-based JDA Software in an effort to provide accurate and reliable transactional information for efficient merchandise management.
With this implementation, H-E-B Mexico continues its JDA investment, having successfully deployed JDA’s Demand, Fulfillment, and Intactix Knowledge Base to support its global supply chain.
“We required a robust merchandising system to replace our legacy home grown system and act as our primary transactional system,” said Guillermo Varela, HR director, H-E-B Mexico. “The JDA solution gives us a proven merchandise management system that integrates very well with our other retail and financial systems and provides us with the scalability and flexibility necessary to support our anticipated growth.”
H-E-B Mexico operates 39 supermarkets and two distribution centers in five Mexican states – Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Coahuila, Guanajuato, and San Luis Potosi – employing more than 7,000 people. A wholly-owned subsidiary of H-E-B Grocery Co., LP, H-E-B Mexico is known for its fresh food, quality products, convenient services, and a commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
