Frito-Lay's Lisa Walsh to Address 'Courageous Leadership' at WMU Food Marketing Conference

2/16/2016

Lisa Walsh, SVP of Sales & Marketing, Frito-Lay, will deliver a presentation on “Courageous Leadership” at Western Michigan University’s upcoming Food Marketing Conference, April 11, 2016, in Grand Rapids, Mich.

During the session, Walsh will discuss the impact of gender diversity on business performance and how to foster a corporate culture that allows courageous leadership to flourish. “Enabling an environment of courageous leadership for both genders is critical in leveraging a diverse workforce to drive business growth in our industry," says Walsh, noting that in today’s demanding retail environment, leaders need to take risks, be bold and have courage in their decision making.

Walsh’s presentation is sponsored by the Network of Executive Women, of which she is executive chair, and reflects “People, Purpose and Passion: The Pathway to Success,” the theme of WMU’s 2016 Food Marketing Conference.

Marking its 51st year, the Food Marketing Conference, whose attendees include both business executives and students, brings together leading retail and CPG speakers to explore the latest developments in the food and retail industry.

Special guests also include Millennial and Gen X expert Jason Dorsey and musician and entertainer David Carroll.
