FreshDirect, Union Square Wines & Spirits Join Forces for Online Wine Store
To mark its sixth anniversary of service, online grocer FreshDirect has formed a partnership with Union Square Wines & Spirits to launch the USQ Wine Store. The new online venture offers a selection of over 200 fine wines and specialty liquors easily browsed with innovative web features.
USQ Wine Store also provides detailed wine listings, a Food & Wine guide, and a "Perfect Pairings" feature offering exact food and wine pairs tested and approved by such well-known New York chefs as Artisanal's Chef Terence Brennan and Tabla's Chef Floyd Cardoz.
The site additionally offers seasonal content, allowing would-be grillers, for instance, to access the Top Ten Summer Picks listing to locate the vintages that best complements grilled fare.
