Food Lion Offers Extra Savings With MVP Big Deal

Through Oct. 25, Food Lion customers can save big by earning up to an additional $15 in savings per shopping trip when they buy at least 10 MVP Big Deal grocery items.

During the two-week promotion, customers with MVP loyalty cards who buy at least 10 participating products will receive additional savings on their grocery bills. For 10 products, $5 will be deducted instantly, for 20 products, $10 will be deducted, and for 30, $15 will be taken off.

Shoppers can find a complete list of participating products either at their local Food Lion stores or on a list available at www.foodlion.com.

The Salisbury, N.C.-based grocer, a subsidiary of Delhaize America, the U.S. division of Delhaize Group in Brussels, also features a variety of coupon options, from in-store coupon kiosks at which customers can use their MVP cards to get special in-store savings to the “Click to Card” feature on the Food Lion website, which enables customers to load coupons on their cards without having to present paper coupons at the register.

Food Lion operates more than 1,100 supermarkets and employs about 57,000 associates in 11 Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
