Fairway Promoting French Products

Fairway Market has joined forces with the French Ministry of Agriculture to pay homage to the country’s gourmet delights with sampling programs at all of the grocer’s stores, which are located throughout the tristate area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Samples will include pâté, jams, olive oils and fish rillettes.

Along with the samples, the program, which runs from Sept. 23 through Sept. 29, will offer consumers the chance to win a trip to France.

Chosen by Fairway buyers during a trip to France this past January, the participating brands are Barral, olives and olive oil; Comptoir Colonial, spices; Favols, jams; Conserverie Gonidec, fish canning; Groix et Nature, fish rillettes and lobster oil; Loc Maria Biscuits, crispy cookies; Hénaff, pâté and rillettes; Trad y Sel, salt; Apidis, honey; Christian Potier; sauces; Ready to Bake, cakes and brownies; and Karine & Jeff, canned cooked dishes.

New York-based Fairway operates 14 stores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
