EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: PepsiCo’s Quintana on Hispanic Market

Enrique Arbelaez of XL Alliance interviews Marie Quintana, SVP, multicultural sales, for Purchase N.Y.-based PepsiCo, during last month’s Hispanic Retail 360 Summit in La Jolla, Calif.

Quintana, whose company was the title sponsor of the 2011 Hispanic Retail 360 Summit, said retailers need to understand that the Hispanic market is “no longer a niche market. It is truly a mainstream market now. Understanding the Hispanic market is what our retailers have to do, and companies like PepsiCo are really in a position to help them get closer to that consumer.”

Quintana added that PepsiCo is “very excited” about sponsoring next year’s Hispanic Retail 360 Summit, which will be held in Los Angeles (March 15-17, 2012, at the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Live).

“I always say, it starts with L.A., and then it moves across the country,” noted Quintana.

Hispanic Retail 360 Summit is produced by Stagnito Media and hosted by Convenience Store News and Progressive Grocer.
