Dunnhumby Chooses Downtown Cincy HQ site
DunnumbyUSA, the customer loyalty specialty shop, has selected a 100,000-square-foot space in downtown Cincinnati to lease that will eventually accommodate more than 500 employees it plans to hire in three years.
It would be a far cry from 2003, when the company, a joint venture between its London-based market parent and The Kroger Co., first opened an office in Cincinnati with 13 people.
According to local reports, once Dunnhumby strikes a 10-year lease deal for the space, which spans 21/2 floors, it will move from its present offices along Third Street between Central and Plum Streets into the vacant building by September 2009.
DunnhumbyUSA, which analyzes trends in shoppers' buying patterns by using loyalty cards and proprietary software, already has other offices in Atlanta, New York, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Portland, Ore.
