Digital Driving Growth at Target

Digital sales are driving most of the growth at Target Corp. and are pushing the Minneapolis-based chain retailer toward a very healthy holiday selling season.
Target reported third-quarter overall comparable-store sales growth of 0.9 percent, while digital sales comps grew 24 percent for the period.
“While we expect the fourth-quarter environment to be highly competitive, we are very confident in our holiday season plans,” said CEO Brian Cornell.
