Dierbergs Gives Grunts Grab at Groceries

Dierbergs will help honor veterans and active duty military personnel this Friday by offering them the chance at a five-minute shopping spree at one of the retailer’s St. Louis-area supermarkets.

One veteran and one reservist will load up their carts on Friday morning at the Brentwood Dierbergs on Eager Road in St. Louis.

Throughout October, U.S. Armed Forces veterans, active-duty military personnel and reservists registered for a chance to win a Veterans Day shopping spree at Dierbergs. Two winners were selected from among hundreds of entries. Manned with a shopping cart and a calculator, the winners have five minutes each to hit the aisles and load their carts with as many groceries as they can grab.
