Date Set For Spring Dollar Store and Value Retailing Summit
NEW YORK -- Retail Merchandiser's fifth Dollar and Value Retailing Summit will be held April 3 through April 5 at the Sonesta Hotel and Resort in Miami Beach, Fla.
Building on the success of RM's four previous meetings, the Spring 2005 Summit is expected to draw executives from the major dollar store and value retail chains across the United States and Canada.
Family Dollar, 99¢ Only Stores, Big Lots, and Dollar Discount Stores of America are among the retail organizations already committed to attending the spring summit.
Dollar General, Variety Wholesalers, Liquidation World and others are also expected to return for another round of one-on-one meetings with suppliers that want to service this fast-growing retail channel. These private 20-minute sessions allow both parties to review new business opportunities or talk about the continuity of existing programs in a concise and concentrated format.
