D'Agostino Supermarkets Rolls Out DemandTec's Price Optimization Software

SAN FRANCISCO - DemandTec, provider of Demand Based Management software, on Thursday announced that D'Agostino Supermarkets, a leading New York-based grocery chain, has chosen to implement DemandTec Price Center throughout its entire chain of 23 stores in New York City and suburban Westchester County. D'Agostino will use Price Center to optimize pricing across its inventory of retail goods.

During an eight-week in-store implementation in its New York City locations, D'Agostino used DemandTec Price Center to match prices precisely with consumer preferences and measure item level net profitability. D'Agostino was able to dramatically increase sales and profit across its test stores.
