D'Agostino Prez to Appear in Doc on Ethical Treatment of Animals

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Nicholas D'Agostino III, president and c.o.o. of D'Agostino Supermarkets here will be featured in "Beyond Closed Doors," a one-hour documentary examining the correlation between science, ethics, and the politics of farm animal treatment.

D'Agostino has widely promoted the certified humane products it carries in its stores, including veal, chicken, eggs, pork products, lamb, milk, and cheese.

Set to premiere Oct. 14 in Phoenix, the film contrasts and compares agricultural practices around the world, to make a case for the ethical and humane treatment of farm animals.

Others appearing in the film include famed animal behaviorist Temple Grandin, author Jeffrey Masson, and Ann Daniels of Chipotle Mexican Grill.
