Central Market Opens Smaller Concept Store

HEB-owned Central Market, last week opened a smaller prototype of its traditional store with its ninth unit in North Dallas.

The 35,000 square foot store is approximately half the size of its other eight units, which are located in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

According to published reports, HEB said the new format will allow the company to take better advantage of urban real estate opportunities, and that it will be looking to open a new location in a few months.
