Texas-based grocery retailer Brookshire Brothers Inc. has joined Topco Associates as a member-owner.

One of the company’s Express locations was featured as Progressive Grocer’s Store of the Month in its May 2017 issue.

Lufkin, Texas-based Brookshire Brothers was founded in 1921 and became a majority employee-owned company in 1999. In 2006, the employees bought the remaining shares of the company to become one of the largest employee-owned companies in the country.
