Bristol Farms Ups Adam Caldecott to President, COO

Adam Caldecott, EVP of retail for Carson, Calif.-based Bristol Farms, has been promoted to president and COO of the 13-store specialty grocer.

“In order to further prepare Bristol Farms for the growth and opportunity we anticipate in the coming year and for many more years to come, I am pleased to announce this significant and well deserved promotion of Adam Caldecott,” said Kevin Davis, CEO, Bristol Farms, to whom Caldecott will report.

“In his newly expanded capacity, Adam will retain responsibility for all facets of Bristol Farms marketing and merchandising, as well as store operations. In addition, Adam will oversee sales and advertising, communication, signing and visual merchandising, and product demonstration functions within the company," Davis added.

For his part, Caldecott said: “It’s an exciting time for Bristol Farms. With the economy continuing to improve, and people spending again, we’re well positioned to take Bristol Farms to new heights.”

Caldecott has made his way through virtually every level of the organization's store operations and marketing departments in his 18-year Bristol Farms career. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Azusa Pacific University and was a member of the USC Food Industry Management Program class of 1999.
