BJ’s Implementing Workforce Management Solution
BJ’s Wholesale Club has begun rolling out the EmpowerWFM workforce management solution across the warehouse club retailer’s 198 locations in 15 states. The move follows a successful pilot of the solution.
In the pilot phase, Westborough, Mass.-based BJ’s leveraged the core modules of EmpowerWFM, among them labor forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, and time and attendance, all of which will be included in the full rollout. The software was designed for organizations with complex, enterprise-wide labor management requirements.
“We anticipate EmpowerWFM to have a positive impact on our business, our members and team members,” noted BJ’s SVP, business information officer Scott Floeck, who added that the grocer made the final choice “[a]fter evaluating a number of workforce management solutions.”
“Producing automated schedules for BJ’s over 24,000 team members requires a high level of sophistication and scalability,” observes Jim Hoefflin, president and CEO of Orlando, Fla.-based Empower Software Solutions.
“BJ’s has demonstrated industry-leading vision in advancing their processes through the configuration of EmpowerWFM,” said Martin Linusson, Empower’s director of workforce management services. “We expect great results.”
