Big Y Foods, Inc. and AisleBuyer LLC have created a partnership to provide Big Y’s customers with a mobile application for iPhone and Android devices that seeks to deliver a new level of customer service and empowerment to shoppers.
Built on AisleBuyer’s mobile commerce platform, the feature-rich application will allow Big Y to give customers a personalized shopping experience while helping them save money on purchases.

With the Big Y application, we can provide a more personalized experience to every customer that walks into our stores.”
The application allows shoppers to scan barcodes using their mobile devices to view and compare product and nutrition information, access customer reviews and receive personalized coupons and offers. Using the application, customers can also compile shopping lists and access a digital store locator that features hours, directions, and contact information. The app will also include localized digital circulars, which provide current sale information and targeted coupons based on the nearest store location, ensuring that customers have accurate and up-to-date information for their local Big Y.
Springfield, Mass., Big Y operates 61 stores throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts with over 10,000 employees.
