AWG Names Pickerill, Lawson Division Managers
Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) has promoted Bob Pickerill and Linda Lawson to SVP, division manager positions. Pickerill most recently served as SVP, division manager for Fort Worth and will now oversee the Kansas City division. Lawson succeeds Pickerill in the Fort Worth division.
Pickerill began with AWG as director of bakery in the Springfield division and was soon tasked with deli operations as well. He also has served as member services director and VP of merchandising.
Lawson has been with AWG for 20 years, beginning her career in the Oklahoma City division. Before joining the company, she held various store operations roles for Supervalu and Kroger.
AWG also named Tye Anthony VP sales and marketing for the Fort Worth division. He previously was VP sales and merchandising, Nashville division; he'll be succeeded by Terry Roberts.
Kansas City, Kan.-based AWG operates seven full-line distribution centers that serve more than 600 member-owners with more than 3,000 retail outlets in 31 states.
