A&P Deploys Category Optimization Solution
The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. (A&P), plans to deploy a category optimization solution to help enhance its merchandising strategy and improve the customer experience across its more than 300 northeast and Mid-Atlantic stores.
A&P is working with Chicago-based Galleria Retail Technology Solutions on the project, and will roll out several of Galleria’s solutions throughout its stores.
“A&P is continuing to become a more innovative retailer that is dedicated to providing its customers with an outstanding shopping experience,” said Bryan Eckhoff, EVP sales and account management, Galleria. “We are delighted to work with A&P to provide a full range of retail and category optimization solutions, and we are confident that the implementation will enable A&P to achieve its goals.”
Galleria develops customer-focused solutions for clustering, automated assortment and space optimization supported by analytics and reporting tools aimed at driving increased sales, enhanced margins, reduced waste/mark-down and accelerated inventory turns. Both desktop and hosted versions are available.
