AnswerLab Appoints Nathenson SVP, Client Solutions

San Francisco-based research firm AnswerLab has named John Nathenson its senior vice president of client solutions and marketing. The company has also promoted Pamela Walshe to vice president, people and client experience, and Danaus Chang to vice president of strategic alliances. Walshe and Change also join AnswerLab’s Executive Team.

In his new role, Nathenson (left) is responsible for driving AnswerLab’s sales strategy and leading its sales and marketing operations. His previous positions include global SVP of marketing technology company Affinova; VP of business development at The Nielsen Company; and SVP of client service and business development for Spectra – which is now a Nielsen company.

Walshe (right), who joined AnswerLab as a director of research in 2011, will lead the research, operations and human resources functions to ensure the company fulfills clients’ expectations and attracts and retains industry talent. Her previous positions include VP of user experience research at Wells Fargo; and she held usability research posts at Charles Schwab and Spring Studios.

Chang (left) is responsible for developing strategic relationships to help leading financial services, pharmaceutical, retail and technology companies solve their customer and user experience challenges. He joined AnswerLab in 2007 in San Francisco and in 2012 moved to New York City to establish the company’s east coast practice. Prior to AnswerLab, Chang managed market research and consumer insights for home builder Lennar Homes, and led consulting engagements at Deloitte and Pulte Homes.
