Albertson's LLC Taps Dorcheus as Prez Southwest Div.
Albertson's LLC yesterday said it promoted Shane Dorcheus to president of its Southwest division, replacing Bob Colgrove, who left the company this past June.
The division includes the grocer's operations in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.
"[Shane is] a strong leader with significant experience in grocery retail operations," said Bob Miller, chairman and c.e.o. of Albertson's LLC. "I am confident he will continue to grow this division's market share and customer satisfaction."
Dorcheus, who has been with Albertson's LLC since its inception in June 2006, was most recently v.p. of operations for the Southwest division. Before that, he held positions of increasing responsibility in store and division operations at the company's predecessor, Albertson's, Inc. during his 28-year career.
Albertson's LLC operates more than 250 stores under the Albertsons banner in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.
