Albertsons, Chevron Bring Gas Rewards to Dallas-Fort Worth

Albertsons Companies LLC and Chevron Products Co. have introduced their Gas Rewards program to Texans in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who shop the grocer’s namesake and Tom Thumb stores.

Under the program, shoppers can receive 10 cents per gallon in Gas Rewards for every 100 Reward Points earned at participating Albertsons and Tom Thumb stores in the area. Customers earn points every time they use their registered phone number while shopping at the stores: one point per $1 spent on eligible grocery purchases, two points per $1 spent on qualifying gift cards, and one point for every out-of-pocket-cost dollar spent at the pharmacy, including copays.

Customers may register for the program via Albertsons’ just for U app or at Albertsons.com/rewards. Current Tom Thumb customers can use their Tom Thumb Rewards Card or phone number when shopping to earn points, while new ones can register via the Tom Thumb app or at TomThumb.com.

The Gas Rewards program is also available in Safeway, Vons, Pavilions and Carrs stores located in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
