Ahold S.V.P., Tax Resigns
ZAANDAM, Netherlands - Ahold said Friday that Bart Kuper, s.v.p., tax, has decided to leave the company effective Feb. 21, 2005.
Over the past decade Kuper has served Ahold in several executive positions in finance and accounting. Before he was appointed to the post of s.v.p., tax in September 2003, Kuper served for 18 months as s.v.p. finance and tax at Ahold USA.
Upon leaving Ahold, Kuper will take the position of s.v.p., tax, at VNU, a global information and media company, and parent company of Progressive Grocer. He will first be based in Haarlem before likely relocating to New York.
Ahold said it would name a successor to Kuper in due course.
