Earth Fare Entering Virginia
Earth Fare will open its first Virginia store in the Ivy Market development in Roanoke, according to a published report. The 24,000-square-foot location is scheduled to open this fall.
“Earth Fare’s unparalleled commitment to keeping our products free from harmful additives means you can shop our store and be confident that your cart is full of healthy, wholesome options,” noted Earth Fare President and CEO Frank Scorpiniti. “Virginia shoppers deserve a store where they can find all the products they need to help their families lead healthier lives.”
Store features will include an organic juice bar with coffees, smoothies and juices; a kitchen selling prepared foods, including a salad bar, hot foods bar, pizza station, sandwich counter and prepackaged foods; and an indoor/outdoor 80-seat café, the Roanoke Times reported, adding that local competition includes Kroger, Aldi and the soon-to-arrive Lidl.
Asheville, N.C.-based Earth Fare currently operates 37 locations in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.
