Amazon Brings Prime Now Delivery to Milwaukee
Amazon.com is now able to delivery groceries and other items in just an hour to residents of Milwaukee, via its Prime Now ultra-fast delivery service.
Available exclusively to members of the Seattle-based ecommerce company’s Prime subscription service – which provides free two-day delivery, among other amenities, for $99 a year or $10 a month – the service offers tens of thousands of items for delivery, from milk, eggs and ice cream to diapers and electronics. Through Prime Now, one-hour delivery is $7.99, and two-hour delivery is free. Prime Now is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week in Milwaukee.
Prime members can even order products using just their voice, using Amazon Echo and Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Fire tablets or Fire TV, simply by requesting Amazon’s Alexa speech-recognition software to order a product from Prime Now. Alexa will recommend a product within the Prime Now catalog and, once confirmed, add it to the customer’s order. Alexa can also order multiple items at once, make recommendations and automatically choose the next available two-hour delivery window.
Prime Now is available in more than 30 U.S. cities and continues to expand rapidly. Prime members can place orders and track delivery status in real time via the Prime Now app, available on iOS and Android devices, or www.primenow.com.
