QUINCY, Mass. and LANDOVER, Md. -- The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. and Giant Food, both divisions of Ahold USA, said yesterday that they have sold Giant Food's distribution and office facility in Landover, Md. and Stop & Shop's distribution facility in North Haven, Conn.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corp. here said Friday it made several executive changes, including a promotion for a member of the Golub family.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Ingles Markets here said Friday it received a Wells notice from the Securities and Exchange Commission, to the effect that Commission staffers intend to recommend civil action against the company.
