SuperFresh Banner Marks 25 Years
MONTVALE, N.J. -- In honor of its 25th year of operation, SuperFresh, a banner of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. here, will host a three-day celebration for associates and customers from Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on those days, shoppers at any SuperFresh store will receive a free “birthday cupcake,” and be able to take part in expanded product sampling and special celebration giveaways. Customers in the process of checking out when the song “Happy Birthday” plays over the store loudspeakers will win special bonus birthday gifts. Additionally, SuperFresh locations will offer special product discounts and other surprises as part of the celebration.

SuperFresh has over 75 stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. In addition to everyday grocery items, the banner's features include takeout meals, floral shops, in-store pharmacies, expanded baby and HBC sections, pet shops, club packs, a Just For Kids aisle, and a large selection of natural and organic foods.
A&P operates 337 stores in eight states and the District of Columbia under the A&P, Waldbaum's, The Food Emporium, Super Foodmart, Super Fresh, Sav-A-Center, and Food Basics banners.
