Sunflower Farmers Markets to Host Naturopathic Medicine Seminars
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- To help its customers think beyond New Year's resolutions, Sunflower Farmers Markets here said it is holding two free seminars this month hosted by nationally recognized wellness expert and doctor of naturopathic medicine Dr. Catherine Wilbert.
Sunflower said it will hold two seminars at the each of its Tucson, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Albuquerque locations. Dr. Wilbert will discuss what consumers can do to have more energy, live with vitality, and keep off the pounds. She will also teach audiences how to read and decipher "tricky" food labels and recognize false claims. Dr. Wilbert will also talk about dining out, recipe makeovers, and maximizing your exercise program.
A question-and-answer session will follow the seminar allowing audience questions on weight management, detox, digestion, effective supplementation, menopause, and more.
Dr. Wilbert is the owner of Vitality Juice, Java and Smoothie Bar, a growing group of retail nutritional supplement stores.
Sunflower Farmers Markets, which sells all fresh and natural products, said it also holds regular talks and seminars to give customers the tools for healthy living. It has 13 stores in Denver, Fort Collins, Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Tucson, Las Vegas, and Albuquerque; and plans to expand in Texas and Utah.
