StoreNext Puts Two Powerful Apps Within Reach of Indies

PLANO, Texas -- StoreNext Retail Technologies, Inc. has added two powerful applications to its solution-mix, making them available via the Internet to small grocery chains that previously may have found them out of reach.

The two enterprise-level applications were previously developed and marketed by TCI Solutions, Inc. which Retalix Ltd recently acquired; StoreNext is a joint venture of Retalix Ltd. and Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc.

StoreNext, which specializes in technology solutions for independent grocers and regional chains, will provide ongoing sales and support for these applications, which have been renamed Retalix Store and Retalix Headquarters. Both applications are supported by a range of industry POS systems.

"These alternatives can be tailored to meet the individualized requirements independent grocers," said Ray Carlin, president and c.e.o. of StoreNext. "Whether grocers prefer to implement on their own, or access our full range of Connected Services applications, we've got a choice that's right for them. In fact, a number of our customers are taking advantage of both approaches."

Retalix Store is a complete direct store delivery (DSD), price management, and inventory control solution for independent grocers. It was developed to improve a grocer's profitability through improved price accuracy, consistent price image, greater vendor and merchandise delivery control, and reduced labor for store-level inventory and pricing.

Retalix HQ is a centralized pricing and inventory management solution for retail headquarters designed to speed decisions into action through central control of item, vendor, and store information; automated price generation to protect costs and focus on sensitive items; manage business processes; execute price changes throughout the organization; and lower overhead through automation.

Retalix Store and Retalix HQ will be offered by a new StoreNext Enterprise Systems team led by Tom Saari, previously v.p. of channel sales and strategic alliances at TCI.
