Schnucks Gives Shoppers ‘Peace of Mind’
Schnucks shoppers spoke, and now the St. Louis-based grocer is responding with a new everyday low-pricing program expected to bring its customers “Peace of Mind.”
Schnucks surveyed thousands of its grocery shoppers to ask how the retailer could better meet their needs. At the top of the list, the grocer said, was “everyday low pricing” on food items they buy most often.
To address that demand, Schnucks has announced the introduction of “Peace of Mind Pricing.” The grocer is adjusting the prices on 1,700 of its most-purchased food items to offer what Schnucks says will be “exceptional value every day.”
Remaining the same is “our commitment to popular, weekly advertised deals on over 10,000 items providing the hottest prices in town on your favorite brands in grocery, meat, produce, bakery and deli,” Schnucks says on its website.
Among the items that Schnucks is tagging with Peace of Mind Prices: milk, eggs, cheese, butter, bread, bananas, refrigerated juices, coffee, yogurt, cream cheese, flour, sugar, pasta, soups, crackers, cookies and mayonnaise.
To kick off and promote the new campaign, Schnucks is running a weekly sweepstakes for the chance to win $500 in Schnucks gift cards. More information is at www.peaceofmindpricing.com.
Family-owned Schnuck Markets Inc. operates more than 100 stores in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi under the Schnucks and Logli banners.
