Reasor’s Promotes Andy Becker to Dir. of Pharmacy

Community-based independent Reasor’s has promoted Andy Becker, D. Ph to director of pharmacy for the company responsible for 15 in-store pharmacies. He will report directly to
Steve Lehto, VP and COO.

“Andy brings strong professional expertise and knowledge of Reasor’s, our region, and customers,” said Lehto. He is a valuable addition to our management team.”

Becker, a 10-year veteran of Reasor’s, is a 1998 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy and a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.

Prior to his recent interim status he was the assistant director of pharmacy, where he is credited with the creation of a unified prescription pricing structure to raise and stabilize gross margin for all stores. He also developed and implemented a third party plan for Reasor’s $4 generic program, standardized Medicare and Medicaid DME billing process, and assisted with contract renegotiations to lower the cost of goods.

“Reasor’s is becoming a market leader in health and wellness and I look forward to taking a lead role in our continued success,” said Becker.

Becker is a member of the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association, an adjunct faculty member for the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy, and an instructor for SWOSU School of Pharmacy. He also serves on a prescription monitoring program committee for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

Tahlequah, Okla.-based Reasor’s was family owned until 2007, when Reasor’s became an employee owned company. The company operates 15 grocery stores and two convenience stores in Northern Oklahoma.
