Raley’s Promotes Key Execs
Raley’s has promoted two key leaders within the organization: Craig Benson to SVP, head of technology, and Levi Wingo to VP, operations.
“This is an exciting time for Raley’s – we have built a strong leadership team that will support the advancement of our vision and purpose,” said Laura Croff, SVP, human resources.
Benson has been in the retail industry for more than 25 years. He previously held the title of VP, technology, and has been with Raley’s since 1999. In his new position, he will play a key role in developing and executing the retailer’s strategic plan and priorities as Raley’s expands its digital and technical capabilities. Benson’s team will deliver solutions to provide customers with enhanced technology offerings to make their experience at stores more memorable. He will continue to serve on the executive committee and report to Keith Knopf, president and CEO.
Wingo is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) Marshall Food Industry Management program, and graduated with a master’s of food industry leadership from USC Marshall in 2020. He has been with Raley’s since 2002. Wingo has held many leadership roles in store operations, led the development of Market 5-ONE-5 as general manager, and was promoted to executive director of store operations in 2018. In his latest role, Wingo will continue to serve on the executive committee and report to Kevin Konkel, Raley’s COO.

Raley's recently opened a 42,000-square-foot O-N-E Market location in the Mount Rose area of Reno, Nev., on May 1. This marked the first store location under the better-for-you banner in that state.
