Raley's to Offer California Grown USDA Choice Beef
Raley's Family of Fine Stores has inked a partnership with Harris Ranch Beef, through which the retailer will exclusively offer its customers locally-raised California Grown USDA Choice Beef.
“When Raley’s went looking for premium, well-marbled and locally produced beef, we found it in our own backyard at Harris Ranch,” said Raley's Koen Vemelyen. “We know our customers want fresh and locally sourced product- at Raley’s, our customer will receive high quality beef from California.”
With the aim of supporting the environment as well as local California regional economies, Harris Ranch's sustainable, local and home-grown beef is screened for antibiotic residues above USDA standards, and is grown by ranching families "committed to animal welfare," the company said.
Privately-owned and family-operated, West Sacramento, Calif.-based Raley's operates 127 stores in Northern California and Nevada under four banners: Raley’s Supermarkets, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods and Food Source.
