Progressive Grocer Celebrates Ahold USA and Its Divisions as Its 2014 Retailer of the Year
The Supersuite at Gillette Stadium was the setting for Progressive Grocer’s Retailer of the Year celebration in honor of Ahold USA and its divisions, which took place on Oct. 16, when the New England Patriots hosted the New York Jets for the nationally televised Thursday night game.
Hosted by PG Brand Director and Stagnito Business Media VP Jeff Friedman and Chief Content Editor Meg Major, the intimate, invitation-only reception provided the event’s valued sponsor partners a special opportunity to celebrate with, and extend personal congratulations to, Ahold USA and its divisions’ senior leadership teams from Stop & Shop New England, Stop & Shop New York Metro, Giant Landover and Giant/Martin’s.
Progressive Grocer’s full Retailer of the Year profile, which appeared in the October issue, highlighted Ahold USA’s divisions’ exceptional community efforts relating to charitable giving, health-and-wellness initiatives and employee engagement.
