Price Chopper Hires VP Construction/Engineering
Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corp. has hired Ryan C. Hill as its VP of construction and engineering, reporting directly to EVP/COO Scott Grimmett. In his new role, Hill will plan the overall engineering, architectural and construction activities for the Schenectady, N.Y.-based chain.
Retail Veteran
Hill (right), a U.S. Air Force veteran, comes to Price Chopper after many years with Deerfield, Ill.-based Walgreens, most recently as senior director of construction, both in the United States and abroad.
Golub owns and operates 132 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The family-owned company employs more than 22,000 associates who collectively own 52 percent of the company’s privately held stock.
