NARMS Gears Up for Spring Conference

PLOVER, Wisc. -- The National Association for Retail Marketing Services (NARMS) here said it is expecting nearly 500 attendees from around the world at its 11th annual spring conference and business meeting, to be held April 1-4 at Amelia Island Plantation in northeast Florida.

Attendees will represent retail marketing service companies from North America, Australia, Europe, Asia, and Africa at this year's conference.

Program highlights include industry updates and remarks from Don Soderquist, former Wal-Mart executive; Stew Leonard, Jr. of Stew Leonard's grocery chain; Karen Post, the "Branding Diva"; author Dennis Snow, and management consultant Bryan Gildenberg.

Special topical breakouts and workshops will be offered, along with special divisional track sessions for NARMS members that represent Event Marketing/Mystery Shopping/Demonstration companies; Independent Food Brokers of America; Manufacturers /Retailers; Merchandising Service Organizations and Professional Installation Companies.

The annual meeting of NARMS membership will take place at 2 p.m. on April 3.
