Mollie Stone's Spices Up Private Label Line

MILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Building on the success of its private label line, specialty retailer Mollie Stone's Markets here is introducing a line of store brand marinades that include several trendily spicy flavors.

Available in 13-ounce bottles, the marinades come in five flavors, including Fat Free Smooth and Spicy BBQ Sauce, Apricot Sesame Teriyaki Glaze, Low Fat Zinfandel Steak Marinade Wine, Fat Free Bourbon Peppercorn Steak Marinade, and Fat Free Smokin' Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

Cross merchandising and signage will promote these new products throughout Mollie Stone's seven stores.

The new line of marinades expands upon a number of other private label products previously available in Mollie Stone's stores, including apple juice, apple sauce, tortilla chips, and a variety of flavors of salsa.

"Customers have been very enthusiastic about our private label products, and we are excited to expand our offerings. Our customers have come to expect a high-quality, great tasting product from our private label line, and when they taste these new marinades, they will be pleased," said David Bennett, co-owner of Mollie Stone's Markets.
