Minnesota Twins Go ‘Wild’ For Lunds/Byerly’s Signature Soup
Lunds and Byerly’s signature Wild Rice Soup will now be served at the Minnesota Twins’ Target Field. The soup, chef-crafted by the Edina, Minn.-based regional banners using Minnesota-grown wild rice, a chef’s roux and fresh vegetables, is Lunds and Byerly’s most requested recipe.
Twins president Dave St. Peter praised the new partnership between Lunds and Byerly’s — which operate 21 grocery stores in the Twin Cities and surrounding area — as being “yet another of the many great Minnesota culinary concepts we are offering at Target Field.
“Nothing says Minnesota like a bowl of wild rice soup,” said Brown, noting that fans at Target Field really appreciate the menu addition, “especially on any chilly game days.”
The grocer’s Wild Rice soup is available at the three Halsey’s Sausage Haus concession stands operated by Sportservice at Target Field.
