Miller Family Acquires Two Ohio Save-A-Lots

Miller Family Grocers has licensed two stores in Ohio from Supervalu subsidiary Save-A-Lot. The company is celebrating with grand reopening events and specials beginning today.

The stores are located at 307 E. Decatur Street in Kenton, Ohio and 895 N. County Line Street in Fostoria, Ohio.

The Save-A-Lot stores will continue to offer affordable, easy access to food and groceries. Shoppers will also now find fresh meat at these locations, and produce will be purchased from local growers whenever possible.

“Save-A-Lot is committed to serving Ohio communities and providing access to fresh produce, meat and groceries at great prices,” said Jeff Miller who, along with son Adam, acquired the Save-A-Lot stores. “I’m looking forward to bringing more than 30 years of grocery retail experience to these two new locations. We’re proud to be a member of these communities and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality options for budget-conscious shoppers in Kenton and Fostoria.”

The Millers have owned and operated Save-A-Lot stores for more than five years. In addition to these two stores, the family currently owns and operates five other Save-A-Lot stores in Ohio and in total employs more than 130 associates.

Save-A-Lot operaties more than 1,300 stores in 39 states from Maine to California.
