Marsh Celebrates Indy 500 With Cheese Carving

Expert cheese carver Sarah “The Cheese Lady” Kaufmann joined Indianapolis-based Marsh Supermarkets and distributor DPI Specialty Foods in celebrating the recent 100th annual Indianapolis 500. In the photo, members of Marsh Supermarkets' Carmel, Ind., store joined Kaufmann as she carved an Indy race car out of nearly 300 pounds of Mullins Wisconsin cheddar in the days leading up to the race. Marsh shoppers watched the transformation take place, sampled cheese and posed for photos with the carving.
