Lucky’s Expanding in Central Florida

Lucky’s Market plans to open four new stores in central Florida, with locations in Hunter’s Creek, Winter Park, Clermont and Orlando, according to published reports.

The Boulder, Colo.-based natural food grocer added that it would roll out another four stores in the region and is currently negotiating leases for those sites, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The Hunter’s Creek store is scheduled open in the fourth quarter of this year, while the Orlando supermarket, located south of downtowm, should open in the spring or summer of next year, and the Winter Park and Clermont locations are slated to open at the close of 2018. The four additional stores are also supposed to open by the end of next year.

Lucky’s has operated a central Florida store in Orlando since June 2016.

The new stores will offer such new features as a ramen bar, Lucky’s spokesman Ben Friedland told the Sentinel, adding that the locations would range in size from 30,000 to 37,000 square feet.
