Kroger's Nick Hahn Enters Private Label Hall of Fame
CINCINNATI -- Nick Hahn, director of corporate brands for The Kroger Co. based here, will be inducted into the Private Label Hall of Fame this month for his leadership in the private label industry and for his role in helping to shape Kroger's corporate brands strategy.
"Throughout his career, has championed the needs and wants of our customers," said Linda Severin, Kroger's v.p./corporate brands. "Kroger's private label program would not be where it is today without Nick's influence -- as an innovator and a mentor."
Kroger's three-tier program -- Private Selection, Banner and Value brands -- enables Kroger to serve a broad and diverse customer base.
Hahn joined Kroger in 1970 and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his career. Hahn also serves on the board of Crayons to Computers in Cincinnati, an organization that provides free teaching materials to teachers, and serves on the board of the Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services, the largest mental health association in the city. He has also served on the Free Store Food Bank Board, a Second Harvest affiliate.
"We congratulate Nick and thank him for his significant contributions on behalf of our customers, associates and the communities we serve," Severin said.
Inductees into The Private Label Hall of Fame are selected by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) and Private Label Magazine.
