Kings Ready to Fall for Autumn

Upscale regional chain Kings Food Markets is planning a special weekend-long customer appreciation event beginning Oct. 11 to usher in fall.

The celebration will be held in Kings' Bedminster, N.J., store, and will include three consecutive days of signature samplings, exclusive cooking demonstrations and the debut of Kings' sweet and gooey Killer Brownie bar.

Customers who visit the store next Friday, Oct. 11, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. also will have the opportunity to meet and receive complimentary consultations from nutritionist Shari Bilt Boockvar, MS, RD.

The event will kick off with president and CEO Judy Spires, COO Rich Durante and store manager Kathy Fiduccia cutting a celebratory cake and presenting the Food Bank Network of Somerset County with a $1,000 donation for its Backpack Program.

Kings also will host a one-week food drive to support the Food Bank Network as part of its “Act Against Hunger” initiative, which aims to end hunger in the communities Kings serves.

Kings operates stores in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
