Ingles Markets Discloses Receipt of SEC Wells Notice
ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Ingles Markets here said Friday it received a Wells notice from the Securities and Exchange Commission, to the effect that Commission staffers intend to recommend civil action against the company.
Ingles said in a statement that the SEC's Wells notice relates to vendor contracts that Ingles had entered into in 2002 and 2003, and internal accounting control issues that have been previously disclosed.
