InContext, Intel Partner on VR Tech for Grocers

Chicago-based InContext Solutions, which develops virtual reality (VR) software for retailers and manufacturers, has struck a partnership with Santa Clara, Calif.-headquartered technology company Intel to create VR solutions for the evolving retail landscape.

The combination of Intel’s technologies with ShopperMX, InContext’s enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) VR platform, will help retailers and CPGs create more effective shopping experiences that reduce risk and improve the bottom line, as well as minimize the cost and time associated with the retail innovation cycle.

“For instance, through ShopperMX, we have helped global manufacturers create new shelf layouts, validate them with real shopper data, and then bring the winning concept to market with help from our ShopperMX mobile app,” said Mark Hardy, InContext CEO. “With this collaboration, we will be able to design our VP platform to include new features and functionality for the latest technology coming out across all devices.”
