Hy-Vee Taps Agilence's Retail 20/20 for In-store Ops

Hy-Vee said on Tuesday it will deploy Agilence Inc.'s Retail 20/20 exception reporting tool in an effort to improve operations and reduce shrink.

"While looking for a solution we were keen on finding one that could help us improve our in-store operations, while also making exception reporting a priority," said Darren Baty, SVP and CIO of Hy-Vee.  "After seeing Retail 20/20 in action it became clear that we would be able to reduce shrink and improve our front end with this tool."

Russ Hawkins, CEO of Mount Laurel, N.J.-based Agilence, noted that Hy-Vee's decision to utilize the company's solution is a "testament to our team's goal of building the best solution possible for retailers."

West Des Moines, Iowa-based Hy-Vee operates 237 stores in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
